Situated adjacent to a small sandy beach on a low cliff, 'Altamar' is an exclusive 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom property in one of the most spectacular oceanfront locations in Barbados. Set in extensive, private, landscaped grounds, peppered with coconut palm trees, the property enjoys breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlantic ocean. Although 'Altamar' can accommodate up to 8 guests, we are happy to rent to fewer people at lower rental rates.

The villa is roomy and fully equipped to a high standard. There are 3 large bedrooms in the main villa, one with en suite bathroom, with a 2nd family bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have king beds, while the 3rd has twin beds. All have wonderful ocean views & cooling easterly sea breezes. There is a spacious lounge/diner & a large, very well equipped kitchen.

There is an adjacent cottage close to the main villa that houses the 4th bedroom & large bathroom. This is ideal for a couple on vacation with family or friends that like their own space & independence.

Outside, the large wooden deck area has recently been completely renewed and extended to incorporate a large spa tub offering wonderful views of the ocean. The covered terrace provides sheltered outdoor dining on the warm Barbados evenings. The villa & cottage are situated in over an acre of their own private grounds right on the ocean.

'Altamar' is situated in a peaceful area of Barbados, away from the hustle and bustle of the south and west coast – although both areas are only a short drive away. The famous Crane beach & resort is only a few minutes drive, with other spectacular beaches within walking & distance & short drives from the villa. With constant cooling sea breezes wafting through the villa and grounds, 'Altamar' is a wonderful oceanfront villa, the perfect relaxing retreat.
